As Co-Founder of The Velvet Collections, Robert leads business development across Italy, Spain, Romania and Eastern Europe — markets he approaches less as territories to cover and more as relationships to build. His work sits at the intersection of commercial strategy and genuine hospitality instinct: understanding what makes a property distinctive, and finding the partners who will represent that distinction well.

Southern and Eastern Europe's luxury landscape is anything but uniform — Italy's design-led boutique scene, Spain's coastal and resort circuit, and the emerging independent hospitality markets of Romania and its neighbours each move at their own pace and answer to their own expectations. Robert's approach is to meet each on its own terms, favouring long-term positioning over quick placements.

He believes representation works best as a genuine partnership between property and agency — built on trust, sustained attention, and a shared understanding of where a brand is headed, not just where it stands today.
